An Apology

Just wanted to say that I am and have been without a camera since May, and I haven't posted a thing about it. I am getting another camera (ie. next week) and should be back soon, doing what I do best.

The Changing of the Guard

I was at a friend's house recently, and he lives right next to Niagara Falls. So, I just had grab at least one pic of the falls changing colour (the falls don't actually change colour, it's just the lighting :P). Tilt Your Head

I recently saw a gallery that had pictures taken using strictly tilt-shift lens. Tilt-shift lenses make objects appear like minitures. Now, these lenses start at $500, but they are really, really cool. So, being the broke student/artiste that I am, I tried to create the same effect using photoshop.

My photography teacher would never let us take colour photo's. Ever. She felt that in order to fully appreciate colour, you must understand lighting first. She would cringe if she saw all the colour pictures I've been taking recently.
